Mariam Nazneen Suri’s fascination with fine arts, fashion, and culture was apparent at a very early age. Her creative mindset paired with this passion is what drove her to pursue design as a career. Mariam has been designing under various establishments since 2008. In 2013, Mariam decided to solely venture into the industry by creating her own brand – ‘Mariam Suri.’

Her contemporary brand depicts timeless style and incorporates details infused with her love for travel, historical occurrences, and her rich ancestral background.

Mariam’s childhood is preserved in every aspect of her brand identity and seamlessly ties into all elements of her inspiration. Her eclectic imagination emerges from all the graceful women and distinguished men that have had a significant influence in her life and her love for her family beams in all the qualities of her designs.

Pakistan has had a substantial impact on Mariam ever since she was young. She has carried and continues to carry the severe attachment, the notable experiences, and the sentiment of being there very near to her at all times. This aspect of her life effortlessly fastens itself to her capacities of creativeness.

Mariam has often been described as an old soul. She herself and the others around her have always believed that she belongs in a different time period. So naturally, she aims to preserve history and eternal quality into her design aesthetic. Her designs fill this desire to be in another era and combine facets imbued with her cultural experiences.  This clear attention to intricate craftsmanship and details is driven by the old soul in her. The Mariam Suri house is the marriage of this old world influence and current concepts.

Mariam has built a foundation around these ideologies, keeping up with the ever-changing society of today, maintaining classic sophistication, and protecting individuality, while still holding onto the traditions and cultures that have shaped her.
