'From the west' represents the 19th century when fashion truly transitioned from being a reflection of social class into an expression of personal style and true identity. People's private attributes began to be exposed through their public exteriors. It was truly an original statement. One not influenced or swayed by any one individual or movement, but only themselves.
The pieces in these collections always seek to remind each person of sheer individualism as fashion has been carried forward today as more mainstream. The idea and purpose extends beyond just change in style, but aims to resurface the major shift during the end of the 1800's -when philosophical and social ideals were being reformed in the world of fashion.
We welcome you to feel in touch with that era again while we translate it into a present-day sense.
